Reusable client-facing welcome guide

Welcome. Let’s make the next step clear.

After you book or purchase a service with Linked-do-Books, we confirm the scope of your engagement, request the records and platform invitations that apply, and begin once the needed information is available.

A practical guide for getting started — not a signed agreement.
Ask a scope question

Questions? Chat with us using the live chat bubble at the bottom of this page (open chat in a new tab), or call the official business line: (406) 500-5242.

01 / SCOPE

Confirm the work

Review the follow-up and Client Services Agreement for the service, deliverables, access, timing, and fees agreed for you.

02 / SHARE

Provide the inputs

Send the relevant records and invite access inside the platforms your engagement uses. We will tell you what applies.

03 / BEGIN

Start the workflow

Once the needed information is available, we organize, review, and move the agreed work forward.

A useful first handoff has the right context.

You do not need to send everything at once. Linked-do-Books will identify the records and access needed for your agreed scope. Gather what applies:

Business details

Legal and operating business name, entity type, primary contact, business address, industry, fiscal year, and the period or accounts covered by the engagement.

Prior records and history

Prior bookkeeping files, recent reports, opening balances, prior-year information, and notes about unusual transactions or changes in the business.

Bank and credit-card statements

Statements for each relevant business account and card for the requested period, including accounts that are closed, new, or not connected to the books.

Accounting records

QuickBooks or Xero information, chart of accounts, reconciliations, transaction exports, receipts, invoices, bills, accounts receivable/payable, and other records we request.

Platform access and invitations

Invite Linked-do-Books through QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, marketplaces, or another relevant platform using its accountant, user, or authorized-collaborator workflow.

Invite access. Do not share passwords.

  • Use the platform’s built-in invitation or collaborator settings for QuickBooks, Xero, Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, or another relevant service.
  • Use the designated upload page only when Linked-do-Books directs you there, and upload records you are authorized to share.
  • Do not submit bank credentials, Social Security numbers, tax IDs, full card numbers, security codes, or passwords through public forms. If you are unsure where something belongs, ask first without attaching it.

What you receive depends on the scope you choose.

These public service descriptions are a guide. Your Client Services Agreement and service-specific follow-up control the deliverables for your engagement.

What a quarterly business review covers.

For qualified CFO-Lite Advisory prospects and clients whose current engagement includes this advisory work, monthly financial context is paired with a structured quarterly review. It is not included in every monthly bookkeeping engagement.

Prepare from current records

We use the client’s actual, current books and agreed metrics to prepare. The conversation distinguishes actuals from assumptions or forecasts.

Discuss the business picture

We discuss what changed, cash-flow visibility, important assumptions, and upcoming decisions in plain language.

Leave with next actions

The review ends with a short list of decisions and next actions. Optional future support can be discussed when a real need is identified; no fixed result is promised.

Stay within the agreed scope

Quarterly business reviews are not included in Starter, Growth, Full-Service, E-Commerce Bookkeeping, or Books Clean-Up unless separately agreed in writing. This is educational business-finance context—not tax, legal, audit, IRS-representation, tax-resolution, or investment advice.

How to begin: Review the CFO-Lite scope and apply through the short CFO-Lite application ($1,250/month). Qualified applicants receive a personal checkout link. After you book or purchase, confirm engagement details and provide the records or platform access requested for the agreed work. The review does not promise growth, tax savings, guaranteed outcomes, or a particular result.

Clear questions keep work moving.

How to ask questions

Reply to your Linked-do-Books follow-up, use the Contact Us form for general questions, or follow the channel the team names for your engagement.

If information is missing

We may pause a task, flag an open item, or ask for clarification. Missing, late, or unclear records can delay progress or affect the usefulness of reports.

Reviews and updates

For ongoing work, expect status updates and reviewed reporting once the records for the period are ready. Timing varies with scope, complexity, and the completeness of the handoff—there is no fixed turnaround guarantee.

Good work is a shared process.

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information and access; reviewing reports; answering questions; approving transactions when requested; meeting your own filing and payment deadlines; and telling Linked-do-Books about changes or errors. Bookkeeping support is distinct from tax advice, legal advice, audit defense, IRS representation, and tax-debt-resolution work. When needed, appropriately licensed specialists may be referred. No service description promises a tax outcome, tax savings, approval, audit result, debt resolution, or business result.

Two guarantees, in plain language.

  1. 30-day money-back guarantee. Subscription plans (bookkeeping, e-commerce bookkeeping, and CFO-Lite Advisory): if you are not satisfied for any reason, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund your first month’s fee in full. On an annual prepay plan, we refund one month’s equivalent: one-twelfth of the annual payment ($169.15 on Lite, $211.65 on Starter, $339.15 on Growth, $551.65 on Full-Service); the rest of the annual payment is not refunded. Books Clean-Up: the project fee is refundable in full if you cancel before work has started. Once we have started work on your records, the Clean-Up fee is non-refundable, except as required by law or under the accuracy guarantee below.
  2. Accuracy guarantee. If we make a bookkeeping error, you choose: we correct it at no charge, or we refund our fee for the month (or months) affected.

The conditions, in plain language:

  • Claim window: tell us within 90 days of discovering the problem. The 30-day money-back guarantee must be claimed within 30 days of your first payment.
  • The accuracy guarantee applies when you gave us accurate, complete information and approvals on time.
  • None of these guarantees covers tax you owe anyway (the underlying tax itself) or work done by someone else or before our engagement began, and they do not cover problems caused by late, incomplete, or inaccurate information from you or a third party.
  • The 30-day money-back guarantee applies once per client, to the first payment of a new engagement. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
  • How to claim: email tyreeg@linkeddllc.com, call (406) 500-5242, or use our contact form, and tell us which engagement and what went wrong. There is no fee to make a claim.
  • These guarantees relate to our bookkeeping work. They do not promise tax savings, a particular tax or IRS result, or business results, and they add to (they do not limit) any rights you have under law.

Next step: confirm scope and engagement details.

Review the follow-up and Client Services Agreement, then respond with any scope questions. Linked-do-Books will identify the records, invitations, and first steps that apply.
